Wow, it now one year and two months since Duncan and I got married on Sunday October 26th 2008 in Trinidad and Tobago. I have not gotten the chance to write about all the excitement of our wedding because our focus was on me getting over to the UK and for us spending our first Christmas as husband and wife together. Thank God we got the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord. The wedding was a dream come true for me, thank God for our wedding planner Margaret Lewis who made the day about Duncan and me. As all the guest started to arrive including Duncan, his parents, Heather, my brother Simon, Duncan's friends and family. It felt almost as if a wave of excitement was passing by. I really felt the support of family and friend unlike anything I ever experience. The best part for me was seeing Duncan coming through the Port in Port of Spain, all sweaty and flushed with the heat of the Caribbean weather. Boy, did he look good. It was the happiest day for me to see him since February 2008. What excitement! Off course, I let the man drive all the while because I trusted him to handle the roads here in Trinidad. We had a good day together. It was as if we just left off where we were in February. Everyone was
excited to see him including my sister Trish
and the girls. Next Heather arrived and it
was a great reunion too at the Port of
POS. It was glorious to see people
arriving in Trinidad for the wedding.
As you would know, no matter if
you have a wedding planner there
are just some things you have to
do. -Rhonda
